Should Mary Jane Be Legal?

  When gay marrige was on the ballot i can remember the reoccurring argument that "It's there buisness what they do in private."  Shouldn't the same argument be valid as far as weed is concerned.  Why do we concern ourselves in matters that don't concern us?  Who am I to tell a man he can't take it in his butt?  Who am I to lock someone up for smoking a joint?  Marijuana don't kill you and it's illeagal.  Cigerretes, msg, and guns kill people.  All of which are legal by the way.  Whats more dangerous?  A doobie or a pistol?  Sandy Hook wasn't the work of a pothead.  Also, the "WAR" on drugs is the most retarded concept i've ever heard of.  That's like if christians went around locking up anyone who sinned.  It's a lost cause.  I'll admit that i used to smoke weed.  I thought being sober would change my opinion on the legality of this drug.  To my suprise it's been exactly the opposite.  I just see more of the stupidity of the issues that "fuel" our politicians and corperate puppets.  Judgement.  It's like poison.
