Hi my name is Joseph Wheeler! I write non-genre specific poems with vivid imagery. I also write occasional articles, and every so often you might see an update. I am a very talented poet/writer (at least that's what reviews say). However my true passion is Psychology so i write in my spare time, as a hobby. I hope you enjoy my works!

Is there more?
Sometimes i like to sit and just think about the world, the universe, humanity, and well reality itself. lately I've been thinking about the question "is there more?". Ever since i was a little kid I've had a closet affair with star wars, superheros, Pokemon, and any anime with people who have special powers. Okay i admit i am a geek inside, no need to chain me to a pole and pelt me with rocks. This next term will seem miserably cliche but i feel the need to express it. Here go's. "Everyone thought the earth was flat, but Columbus said it was round." Hey at least i warned ya. As long as i can remember people have always categorized superpowers, psychics, supernatural phenomena, and anything else that isn't taught either in school or the bible as, Pen and Teller said it best, that's right, Bullshit! It's like humanity is scarred of anything that is foreign to our brief 9-5 existence on this ball of a mineral we label Earth. I do not follow in any ones footsteps except for those who actually made a difference(and no, writing a new age book of recycled mumbo jumbo, or a christian self help program with more words than the bible, doesn't count). It seems we as humans are quick to accept any thought or action of those in power over us as the gospel of bob. It probably has something to do with survival and the fact that if in prehistoric times, your uncle was fucking with a saber tooth and got his head ripped off and your father told you to be weary of such mistakes...well it was probably those that did that got to grow old enough to reproduce with the most beautiful hairy ass females and sew the seeds of the capitalism praising, celebrity worshiping, resource consumers that we refer to as modern man. I'm not pointing fingers because we all fall short of the glory of Steve Jobs. Regardless of why we think we got it all down pat and ready to profit. Is there more? The answer is yes, but only if someone has the balls to tell pop culture and society to go fuck itself. I know there are things our minds and body's are capable of doing that would force Pen and Teller to repent to the almighty bull that shat us all out. Bad metaphor? okay I'm sorry for that one. My point is that a new era of discovery is upon us. In the words of Patrick Star "We have the technology!"
