An Essay on Change
There are many dark and light forces at work on this spherical mass of rock we call earth. The biggest mistake a man can make is to bear the world upon his own shoulders, for he will surely collapse. It is for this reason that desperate and wise men alike call upon a higher power to assist them in a life that all have lived and few have truly loved. How many desperate good people do you think call upon God and his angels for protection, success, and wealth everyday? It is because independence is impossible if you wish to survive in this chaos filled wilderness we call space.
We live in a world filled with people consumed by greed, fear, grief, lust, ignorance, and hate. Man refuses to love his neighbor for fear of being rejected of some form of payment, whether it be love, acceptance, time, tranquility, or money. Instead man takes these things from his neighbor unjustly. Then the neighbor feeling cheated takes these things from others, and so on and so forth.
It is up to the men and women of today to learn how to treat their fellow man, so that the children will learn. This will ultimately lead to a better world tomorrow, but just as the farmer doesn't yield crops without planting seeds first, we must also create these changes in ourselves today. Overcome fear, greed, lust, ignorance, and hate; then we will live in peace.
